Located in Port Renfrew, B.C. Canada, on Vancouver Island’s wild west coast you’ll find the The Homestead Cabins, nestled between both arms of the San Juan River amidst wild fern & moss laden trees. We have two renovated homestead cabins with modern amenities surrounded by wilderness.
Our tranquil 7 acres is home to the local herd of Roosevelt Elk, which frequently stop by for a visit. The best time to view these lovely creatures is during the mating season which occurs between August & October. If you love Humming Birds, you’ll be speechless when you see the non stop feeding frenzy at the feeders which begins in March through to September, with the heaviest times being June-August.
We bought this property in 2003, built our log home & renovated the cabins in 2004. After a decade of fishing & camping in the area we felt this was the right move & it was. Over the years we have welcomed guests from all parts of the world and have made many new friends. Our cabins are cute, clean & comfortable. Our property is yours to enjoy & explore. Have any questions about the area, we’re more than happy to help out.
We’re only a 5 minute drive to the beach and the core of Port Renfrew, where you’ll find our General Store and a small selection of restaurants, as well as our local pub.
